Haruhiko Takimoto ( Japanese 滝 本 晴 彦 , Takimoto Haruhiko ; born May 20, 1997 in Ibaraki Prefecture ) is a Japanese football player .

Career

Haruhiko Takimoto learned to play football in the youth team of Kashiwa Reysol . Here he signed his first professional contract in 2016. The club from Kashiwa , a city in Chiba Prefecture on Honshū , the main island of Japan , played in the country's highest league, the J1 League . In 2018 he had to start the path to the second class with the club. A year later he was with the club champion of the J2 League and rose directly back to the first division. He made his first division debut on February 22, 2020 in the home game against Hokkaido Consadole Sapporo when he came on for Kim Seung-gyu in the 81st minute .
