The Haselberg Tower was built in 2008 by the Free State of Saxony on the Haselberg, formerly Wettinhöhe, in the Königsbrücker Heide nature reserve . The wooden tower is 34 meters high and has two viewing platforms , 13 and 32 meters high. Its nine floors are connected by a galvanized steel staircase with a total of 156 steps. The terrain height of the Haselberg is 190 meters above sea ​​level . The foundation of the observation tower consists of 150 cubic meters of reinforced concrete .
