'' #MEAT '' is an award-winning avant-garde short film by the Belgian artist Marc van den Broek from 2016 .

content

'' #MEAT '' is an art film that deals with fist material in an associative way . The “Body Mechanics” sculptures by the artist and sculptor Marc van den Broek are used in the film.

The protagonist of the film stands for people in time and space, for their actions and their experiences. The storytelling of the art film cannot be seen rationally, but rather intuitively, emotionally. The film offers a platform for a train of thought and integrates topics such as technology , science , politics and culture . The focus is on the development of mankind over the past 100 years.

'' #MEAT '' begins at the beginning of the industrial age and ends with the dissolution of the “I” in time and space in the digital, immaterial present. In doing so, he abandons the scientific method and chooses an artistic-poetic examination of the history of development.
