Hassan Issaev
Hasan Issaew ( Bulgarian Хасан Исаев ; born November 9, 1952 in Bisserzi ) is a former Bulgarian wrestler . In 1976 he was Olympic champion in paper weights up to 48 kilograms.
Life
At the European Wrestling Championships in 1973 in Lausanne , he was the first time European champion in freestyle wrestling in the weight class up to 48 kilograms. In 1975 he was able to repeat this success in Ludwigshafen am Rhein . At the wrestling world championships in 1974 he was world champion in Tehran . He was able to defend the title in Minsk in 1975 . At the 1976 Summer Olympics in Montreal , he won the gold medal in this weight class.
