Hauke ​​Jasper Berheide (* 1980 in Duisburg ) is a German composer.

Life

Berheide took composition lessons from David P. Graham and then studied with Manfred Trojahn and José María Sánchez Verdú .

He gave concerts with the Düsseldorf Symphony , the Hamburg Philharmonic , the Duisburg Philharmonic , the Freiburg Philharmonic Orchestra , the NDR Symphony Orchestra Hamburg , the Wuppertal Symphony Orchestra , the Saarland State Theater Saarbrücken , the Thuringian Symphony Orchestra , the Ensemble Modern and the Auryn Quartet .

His opera Wall Show with a libretto by Amy Stebbins was premiered on June 29, 2016 as part of the Munich Opera Festival in the Reithalle Munich . For this he received the Opera Festival Prize.
