The Haut de Cry is a mountain in the canton of Valais in Switzerland . It belongs to the Bernese Alps and towers over the Rhone Valley . The Haut de Cry consists of several peaks, the highest of which is 2969  m above sea level. M. has.

The Haut de Cry lies on the right bank of the Rhone . It dominates the villages of Chamoson , Ardon , Vétroz and Ovronnaz . It is the highest point of a ridge line oriented from southwest to northeast, on which the Cavouère is also located. From the summit of the Haut de Cry this ridge line leads west to the Grand Muveran . The north-western slopes of the Haut de Cry feed the Derbonne , which flows into the Rhone via the Lizerne . The water of the south-eastern slopes flows into the Losentse , itself a tributary of the Rhone.

There are several alpine meadows on its southern slopes, which merge into vineyards in lower elevations.
