The Great Wall Hover (until 2010), Great Wall Haval H5 (2010-2013), Haval H5 (since 2013), Great Wall Haval H3 (for the entry-level version) or Great Wall X 240 (in Australia until 2011) is an SUV of the Chinese automaker Great Wall .

history

The hover was launched in China in 2006 and has also been sold in several European countries since 2007. In Italy it was also delivered as a petrol engine with a gas system (Euro 4 standard). At the Beijing Auto Show 2010, Great Wall presented the Haval H5, a revised version of the vehicle. Since then, it has been available in two different versions, the GKC Edition (2010–2011) and Zhizun (since 2011) for the Asian market and the European Style for the European market.

drive

The Haval H3 is powered by a 2.0-liter engine with 90 kW (122 hp) from Mitsubishi Motors . The hover was available with a total of four engines, including two diesel engines - a rarity in China. An all-wheel drive is available as an option only for the Hover. ABS is standard on all versions; Airbags for the driver and front passenger only on the Haval H3, whereas they are optional on the Hover.

safety

In a crash test carried out in 2007 according to C-NCAP (similar to the EuroNCAP standard), the car achieved 4 out of 5 stars. A test in Australia in 2010 achieved the same result, apparently only assessing occupant safety.
