The Haval H8 is an SUV from the Haval brand belonging to the Chinese automobile manufacturer Great Wall . The SUV was positioned between the Haval H7 and the Haval H9 .

history

The vehicle debuted at the Beijing Auto Show in April 2012 as the Great Wall Haval H7 Concept . Haval presented the production version at the Guangzhou Auto Show in November 2013, after which it was to be sold in China. However, the manufacturer postponed the market launch several times until April 2015. Only then were the first vehicles delivered to customers. The reasons for the shift can be traced back to technical problems with the gearbox, the engine setting and the steering, among other things.
