The Haywood Peak is a 2,052 m high mountain on the Antarctic Ross Island . In the Kyle Hills, it rises immediately west of Tekapo Ridge on the eastern slopes of Mount McIntosh .
The Advisory Committee on Antarctic Names named him in 2013 after the American John Haywood, who, as a logistician within the United States Antarctic Program , supports and standardizes the work of the scientists of the National Science Foundation and the employees of the private service provider Raytheon would have.
