The Hazukibreen ( Norwegian , Japanese 葉 月 氷河 Hazuki-hyōga , German ' August glacier ' ) is a small glacier on the Prince Harald coast of the East Antarctic Queen Maud Land . It flows north of the Hovdebukta in a northeastern direction to Lützow-Holm-Bucht .
Japanese scientists discovered and measured it in August 1981. They named it after the month of its discovery. Scientists at the Norwegian Polar Institute translated this name into a partial translation into Norwegian in 1989.
