Heby is a place ( Tatort ) in the Swedish province of Uppsala län and the historic province of Uppland . The place is the main town of the municipality of the same name .

In the past, brick production dominated the place, but the brick factories have now disappeared and the place is more of a service center for the community. There are also some small businesses. Since the timetable change in December 2012, regional traffic on the Uppsala- Heby- Sala railway line has been operated with Upptåget trains from Upplands Lokaltrafik .
