Hedendorf ( Low German Heendbod ) is a district of Buxtehude in the Lower Saxony district of Stade .

geography

The place is west of the core town of Buxtehude and west of the Buxtehude district of Neukloster on the B 73 .

To the east of Hedendorf lies the Neukloster Forst .

history

Hedendorf was incorporated on July 1, 1972, but still today has the Horneburg area code (04163)

In Hedendorf and Neukloster there are still local councils with local mayors elected from their midst, in the other localities of Buxtehude there are local councilors who are supposed to represent the interests of the citizens from the localities in the city council and to the city administration.

Culture and sights

The football club VSV Hedendorf / Neukloster has been playing in the sixth class Lüneburg regional league since the 2019/20 season .

Infrastructure and traffic

The busy B 73 runs through Neukloster. The A 26 runs north .

Hedendorf also has a primary school.
