Hot Breath (Original title: Warm summer rain ) is an American drama directed by Joe Gayton . The film was made in 1989 with Kelly Lynch and Barry Tubb .

action

Kelly leaves town after a failed suicide attempt. She gets drunk in a bar in a small village and meets Guy. When she wakes up next to Guy the next morning, Guy claims that they got married that night. Through long and confusing conversations in an abandoned house, it becomes clear that both Kate and Guy have mental health problems. During a violent act of love, the house is accidentally set on fire. After being able to leave the house at the last second, they steal a car and drive back to the bar, where the police are already looking for you. Afraid of going to jail, they try to escape, which ends in tragedy. Kate causes an accident and as Guy wasn't wearing a seat belt, he is thrown out of the car. As he dies, he advises Kate “not to do the same thing twice”.

Reviews

"A well-photographed, but poorly told, unfinished film that at best arouses interest for a short time at the beginning."
