Heide Großnick

Heide Großnick (born September 16, 1941 in Mährisch Neustadt ) is a German politician ( CDU ). From 1990 to 1994 she was a member of the state parliament of Mecklenburg-Western Pomerania .

Life

Heide Großnick grew up in Thuringia after being expelled from the Sudetenland . She graduated from high school in 1960 and studied German and music education at the University of Jena . After the state examination as a subject teacher, she worked from 1964 to 1990 as a teacher for German, music and art education. She has been volunteering in the field of ground monument preservation since 1975. Großnick is widowed and has four children.

politics

It was non-party until 1989. In March 1989 she joined the CDU and became local group chairman. At the same time she was chairman of the citizens' initiative in Glowe . In February 1990 she was elected to the state executive committee of the CDU Mecklenburg-Western Pomerania .

In the state elections in Mecklenburg-Western Pomerania in 1990 , she was elected as a direct candidate in constituency 22 (Rügen I) in the state parliament of Mecklenburg-Western Pomerania . In the state parliament she was chairman of the culture committee and deputy chairman of the parliamentary group.

When the school reform law was passed in 1991, she abstained and would have prevented the law if the PDS MP Peter Stadermann had not left the meeting shortly before the vote.
