Heide Orth , née Heide Schildknecht , (born August 10, 1942 in Grevesmühlen ) is a former German tennis player .

Career

Heide Orth, who preferred to play on clay courts, began playing tennis at the age of 13. From 1964 to 1973 she played a total of 15 games for the German Federation Cup team . She had a balanced record of 2-2 in singles, in doubles she won eight of her eleven games.

She was German tennis champion four times (1969, 1971 to 1973).
