Heideeck (Schönewalde)

Heideeck was a short-lived municipality in the office of Schönewalde ( Elbe-Elster district , Brandenburg ) that existed from 1998 to 2001 . It was an amalgamation of the three originally independent communities Ahlsdorf , Brandis and Stolzenhain . In 2001 it merged with three other communities to form the town of Schönewalde and was dissolved. At the end of 2000 it had 919 inhabitants.

Geographical location

The municipality of Heideeck was located in the west of today's municipality of the city of Schönewalde. It bordered in the north and east on the municipality of Niederer Fläming (with the districts of Welsickendorf , Gräfendorf , Reinsdorf , Wiepersdorf , Kossin , Weißen and Bärwalde ), in the south on the town of Schönewalde and the municipalities of Grassau and Berndorf (all three of the offices of Schönewalde) and over a short distance to the municipality of Arnsnesta ( Amt Herzberg (Elster) ).

history

In 1992 the communities of Ahlsdorf, Brandis and Stolzenhain merged with eight other communities to form the office of Schönewalde . On December 31, 1998, the communities of Ahlsdorf, Brandis and Stolzenhain formed the new community of Heideeck within the Schönewalde office. On December 31, 2001, the communities of Heideeck, Themesgrund, Wildberg and the city of Schönewalde merged to form the new city of Schönewalde. The office of Schönewalde was also dissolved on December 31, 2001, the city of Schönewalde was vacant. The community of Heideeck was dissolved again. The three participating communities are now districts of the city of Schönewalde.
