history

The place was first mentioned around 1380 as Algerstorff , named after a person named Coppe von Algerstorff . In contrast to other places of the same name, Ahlsdorf was sometimes referred to as Wendisch Ahlsdorf or Ahlsdorf near Schweinitz .

Ahlsdorf was once an independent parish village with a manor and its own patrimonial court . In 1459 the place belonged under the name Ahlsdorp slavia to the provost Jüterbog and was in the administrative area of the Electoral Saxon office Schweinitz . In 1709 Ahlsdorf was Fideikommissgut of the von Seyffertitz family under Anton Friedrich von Seyffertitz , whose brother Joachim Hennig von Seyffertitz bequeathed it to Adolf Baron von Seyffertitz in 1736 . This was in 1711, along with four brothers of Augustus the Strong in the realm baron conditions were collected. With the results of the Vienna Congress in 1816, Ahlsdorf became part of the Schweinitz district .

In 1822 there were 28 houses with 256 inhabitants here.

In 1858 Johann Georg Siemens bought the manor, which was owned by the family until 1945. At the beginning of the 20th century, Elise Görz, the daughter-in-law of Johann Georg and widow of Georg von Siemens , had the church rebuilt in the village and helped to build a school, at which she also taught. Furthermore, the park was redesigned and accommodations for farm workers were created. In 1909 a public kindergarten was established.

With the division of the Schweinitz district in 1952, Ahlsdorf became part of the Herzberg district .

On December 31, 1998, Ahlsdorf formed together with Brandis and Stolzenhain the new municipality of Heideeck, which was incorporated into Schönewalde in 2001.

A village community center was inaugurated on December 13, 2002.
