Heidelinde Penndorf

Heidelinde Penndorf (born November 7, 1956 in Weißenfels ) is a German politician (formerly Die Linke ) and was a member of the state parliament of Saxony-Anhalt .

Life

Heidelinde Penndorf graduated from Polytechnic in 1973 and became a full nurse in 1977 . Between 1980 and 1982 she worked as a childcare worker in a kindergarten. From 1982 to 1990 she was then a general practitioner consultant . Between 1991 and 1992 she retrained as a specialist in marketing with a degree from the Chamber of Industry and Commerce . In 1992 Ms. Penndorf worked as a marketing specialist and from 1993 to 1995 as a managing director in a car company.

Between 1996 and 1997 she reoriented herself professionally and carried out work-related internships in a business consultancy in Bonn . In 1998 and 1999, Heidelinde Penndorf was a sales representative at WKV Bank Munich. In 2000 and 2001 she did practice-oriented training courses and again internships at a business consultancy in Bonn. Between 2001 and 2002 she retrained to become a commercial internet assistant. In 2005 and 2006 she was without work and received unemployment benefits .

Ms. Penndorf is married and has two children.

Heidelinde Penndorf joined the Democratic Socialism Party (PDS) in 2005 . From 2005 she was a member of the PDS district board in Weißenfels and was deputy district chairwoman in the Burgenland district .

In March 2006, Ms. Penndorf entered the state parliament of Saxony-Anhalt via the state list. There she was secretary and member of the committee for social affairs.

In the state elections in March 2011, she was unable to win a direct mandate in her constituency ( Hohenmölsen-Weißenfels ) and did not enter the state parliament via the state list.

At the end of 2011 Penndorf resigned from their party, which had meanwhile been renamed Die Linke . Previously, a party expulsion was initiated against them by the district executive; however, the application was withdrawn during the election campaign. In the run-up to the state elections in 2011, there had been a dispute within the party. In e-mails that were made public, Penndorf told an employee that one only had to go through one legislative period in the state parliament, "then Hartz IV can give us a go ".

In 2013, Penndorf and others initiated a referendum in the city of Weißenfels. However, the request failed due to formal deficiencies. The collected "around 4650 signatures" were therefore invalid and the request inadmissible.

In the election on May 25, 2014 , Heidelinde Penndorf was elected to the council of Weißenfels for the group of voters she co-founded “Alliance for Justice - Voters' Association Weißenfels” (BfG-WV), but did not take up the mandate and justified this with a new one Place of work. The Lord Mayor of Weißenfels, Robby Risch (non-party), accused her after the election in the “Weißenfelser Official Journal ” of having made the decision not to accept the mandate before the election.

Heidelinde Penndorf is a member of the "Citizens' Initiative for Social Justice Weissenfels" and in the Weissenfels Children's and Youth Welfare Association. She was also one of the organizers of the “Monday demo” against “welfare cuts”.
