Heidi Dalton (born March 21, 1995 in Richardsbaai ) is a South African racing cyclist.
Athletic career
Heidi Dalton comes from a cycling enthusiast family; her father owns two bike shops. She drove her first race at the age of eight. As a teenager she won several national titles.
In 2013 Dalton won two African junior titles, in individual and team time trials (with Andri Coetzee , Monique Gerber and Mikayla Olivier ). The following year she started at the Commonwealth Games in Glasgow ; She did not finish the road races, in the individual time trial she finished 20th. In 2015 she became the African elite champion in the team time trial with Lise Olivier , An-Li Kachelhoffer and Ashleigh Moolman-Pasio , in the individual time trial she was runner-up. She won another silver medal at the 2015 African Games , also in the team time trial (with Zanele Tshoko , Catherine Colyn and Lise Olivier).
In 2017 Heidi Dalton became the South African champion in the road race of the elite and the U23 as well as the individual time trial of the U23.
