Lynette Burger (born November 4, 1980 in Krugersdorp ) is a former South African racing cyclist who was active on the road and track .

Athletic career

In 2006 Lynette Burger was South African runner-up in the individual time trial . The following year she was African champion in the individual time trial and finished second in the road race ; at the Africa Games in 2007 in Algiers , she was also third in the road race as the B- UCI Track Cycling World Championships in Cape Town in Scratch . In 2008 she finished third in the South African road championship in the individual time trial.

In 2009, Burger was both South African and Africa champion in road races and finished second in both competitions in the individual time trial. In 2011 she won two national titles on the track, in the single pursuit and in points , and in scratch she was runner-up. At the Africa Games in Maputo in 2011 , she won the road race and was third in the individual time trial. In 2013 she became national champion in the one's pursuit. 2015 she won together with Ashleigh Moolman-Pasio , Lise Oliver and An-Li Pretorius Africa champion in the team time trial . In 2018, she finished third in the national championship road race.
