Heidi Schüller
Heidi Schüller (born June 15, 1950 in Passau ) is a former German athlete , television presenter and doctor .
Life and professional history
At times Schüller was the record holder and German champion in the 100-meter hurdles . In 1972 she was the first woman to take the Olympic oath at the Olympic Games in Munich . In the long jump she was fifth, defeated by the eventual winner Heide Rosendahl , among others .
After the games, she ended her sports career and became a specialist in anesthesia and senior physician at the University Clinic in Cologne . She also worked as a television presenter for 3 to 9 , Talk im Turm ( Sat.1 ), Club 2 ( ORF ), themed evenings ( ARTE ) and wrote well-known and discussed books on the generation conflict .
In 1994 she was among the non-party health expert the SPD shadow cabinet of Rudolf Scharping on.
