Heidrun Mössner

Heidrun Mössner (* 1950 in Bretten ) is a German author and documentary filmmaker.

Life

After studying German and English in Freiburg , Heidelberg and Bremen , Mössner worked in adult education and in a vocational school and as the manager of the Schauburg cinema in Bremen.

Since 1990 she has been working as a freelance filmmaker, often on her own initiative and through her own distribution. After working for several years at the advice center “Silhouette - Advice Center Against Sexual Violence against Girls” in Bremen, Mössner produced a film in 1991 about signals from affected girls. This was followed by commissioned productions for the NDR and documentary presentation films for educational institutions.

Ich bin ein Doktor auf Expedition (76 '), a film about Eva Reich , daughter of Wilhelm Reich , was shown at the Kassel documentary and video festival in Kassel in 2005 and broadcast by the zdf dokukanal.

With Because it's good for me! , Breast Cancer and Exercise , Mössner developed a documentation together with women affected by breast cancer in 2006 , which contains short portraits of the women.
