Heigeign is an Austrian quintet whose style is part of new folk music . Her music is inspired by Pannonian folk music, with texts in Hianzisch , Burgenland- Croatian , Hungarian and Romanes .
As a result of the intensive study of Joseph Haydn's music , the CD joschi was created in 2008 , on which arrangements of folk songs can be heard, the themes of which can also be found in Haydn's works.
Heigeign has been invited to various festivals of new folk music and world music (e.g. Glatt & Verkehrt (2006), Polka Nova (2009)).
