Heike Dieball

Heike Dieball (* 1959 ) is professor for civil and labor law at the University of Hanover .

Life

Dieball began her law studies in southern Germany in the late 1970s . In the early 1980s , she moved to the University of Bremen . In 1984 she passed her state examination and from 1986 to 1988 worked as a research assistant at the German Bundestag , where she worked on draft laws and also prepared hearings.

Before she became a freelance legal consultant in the mid-1990s , she worked as a research assistant at the University of Bremen . Since 2001 she has been professor for civil and labor law at the University of Hanover . As dean of studies, she oversees the social work department, and is also the chairperson of the study commission.

On May 13, 2014, Dieball was elected part-time Vice President for Social Openness, Further Education and International Affairs at the University of Hanover.
