The spa and mineral Germete GmbH , headquartered in Warburg district Germete in Höxter district in North Rhine-Westphalia is one of Altmühltaler Mineral Wells & Co. KG GmbH in Treuchtlingen in Bavaria belonging to German medium-sized companies in the mineral water - and drink industry.

Companies

With around 130 employees, over 230 million liters of mineral water and soft drinks are produced and sold. This makes the company one of the 20 leaders in the ranking of over 200 mineral water companies in Germany. The company has two glass and three modern PET plants. In these, the beverages are filled into reusable bottles made of glass and PET as well as PET non- returnable bottles on two systems and sold. With the brands Antonius Quelle, Big Devi, Bella Vita and Warburger Waldquell, all relevant market areas are covered. Large storage capacities ensure that goods are always available. Germeta GmbH has been part of the Schäff Group in Treuchtlingen in Bavaria since March 2016 . The Vitaqua plant here in neighboring Breuna also belongs to the Schäff Group .

Fountain

The water processed here is brought to the surface from twelve sources . Only two of the wells are located directly on the factory premises, another is around 300 m outside the factory and the remaining wells are within a radius of around two to three kilometers. Not all wells are always active at the same time. Germete is currently investing 2.5 million euros in the development of another well. The new "Arnoldiquelle" is located on the Asseler Feld south of Rimbeck and is 252 meters deep. The water extracted here from October / November 2012 is transported to the plant by means of a 4.2 kilometer pipeline and is therefore the furthest away from the plant.
