Heilig Kreuz is a Roman Catholic branch church in Pfändhausen , a district of the Lower Franconian community of Dittelbrunn in the Schweinfurt district . The church is registered under number D-6-78-123-46 in the Bavarian Monument List . Like Dittelbrunn , Hambach and Holzhausen, Pfändhausen is a member of the Marienbachtal parish community .

history

Pfändhausen was originally a branch of the parish Rannungen . The church, built in 1965 and 1966, replaced the rococo- style church of St. Anthony of Padua in 1967 . Hans Döllgast designed the new building .

Description and equipment

In contrast to the old church, the church hall with a gable roof visible from the inside faces west. The tower with pent roof and battlements is on the north side. Large windows are arranged in the middle on the western and eastern walls. The one on the western wall is colored. In front of it is a large crucifix . The north and south walls have large wall areas with only one small window each. In the tower hang three bells with the tones g ′ - b ′ - c ″.
