Elsenz Local History and Tobacco Museum
The local history and tobacco museum in the former town hall in Elsenz , a district of the city of Eppingen in the Heilbronn district ( Baden-Württemberg ), is a small museum about the history of tobacco growing in Kraichgau .
In the former town hall, a classicist building from 1873, is the museum that provides information about the local cultivation of tobacco . The centuries-long history of this special culture brought to the Kraichgau by the Huguenots is presented. The work processes from sowing to complete smoking pleasure are also shown.
At the same time, tobacco growing is linked to the history of Elsenz, where tobacco is still grown today.
