Culture-historical museum (Eppingen)
The Kultur-Historisches Museum is located at Eichgasse 1 in Eppingen , a town in the Heilbronn district in northern Baden-Württemberg .
The private cultural and historical museum, the Reinhold Sack Collection, shows thematically clearly delimited subject areas over four floors.
- There are old ovens on the ground floor , including three Irish ovens made by Esch & Cie in Mannheim . In addition, iron as well as door and cabinet locks.
- The watch collection is located on the 1st floor , including watches from well-known manufacturers such as Gustav Eduard Becker , Lenzkirch , IWC , A. Lange & Söhne and Patek Philippe .
- On the 2nd floor there are dolls from various manufacturers, old prams and dolls' prams as well as tin toys .
- In the attic is a rural collection of flour sacks to copper to bakeware , earthen vessels, oil jugs, scales and much more on display.
The exhibition is constantly being expanded. B. on the subjects of bookbinding , wood turner and wood carving . Thematic special exhibitions such as in 2010 on the history of coffee together with a collection cup exhibition complete the range of topics.
