Heinrich Achenbach (politician)

Heinrich Achenbach (born June 2, 1881 in Niederdieten ; † July 3, 1966 ) was a German politician ( CDU ) and a member of the Hessian state parliament .

education and profession

After elementary school and an apprenticeship as a bricklayer, Heinrich Achenbach worked as a foreman in the Rhineland and Westphalia. From 1913 to 1922 he was secretary of the Christian building workers' association. From 1914 to 1918 he did his military service . From 1922 to 1932 he was the managing director of the construction production cooperative in Siegen . After the takeover by the Nazis and DC circuit of the unions he was again active in the old job.

politics

Heinrich Achenbach became a member of the CDU in 1945 and was district chairman of the CDU in the Biedenkopf district .

From 1946 he was a member of the district council and chairman of the CDU parliamentary group .

From July 15, 1946 to November 30, 1946 he was a member of the Constitutional Advisory Assembly of Greater Hesse and from December 1, 1946 to November 30, 1950, a member of the Hessian Landtag.
