Heinrich Ambrosius (born June 30, 1879 in Lübeck ; † February 2, 1968 ibid) was a German businessman and politician ( DDP , FDP and CDU ).

MP

Ambrosius was from 1919 to 1921 for the DDP and from 1921 to 1924 for the civil party list member of the Lübeck citizenship and numerous committees.

Later he was from March 14, 1946 to November 7, 1948 a member of the Lübeck citizenship and belonged to the first appointed Landtag of Schleswig-Holstein from February 26 to November 11, 1946 . There he first joined the FDP faction, but switched to the CDU faction on August 20, 1946. From May 7 to November 11, 1946 he was deputy chairman of the Committee on Economics and Transport.

Public offices

On February 20, 1915, Ambrosius was a founding member of the Committee for War Injuries of the Lübeck Senate .

After the Second World War he was an honorary senator and deputy mayor of the Hanseatic city of Lübeck.

From March 13 to November 11, 1946, Ambrosius was Deputy Minister for Economics and Transport in Schleswig-Holstein.

From March 20, 1946 to November 10, 1948 he headed the financial administration and administration of Travemünde and was deputy senator for the internal administration of the Hanseatic city of Lübeck.

From November 21, 1946 to November 10, 1948 he was Deputy Senator for the Economic Administration of the Hanseatic City of Lübeck.

In 1947 Heinrich Ambrosius was chairman of the Lübeck Foreign Trade Association.

Ambrosius was also a member of the plenary assembly of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry .

Awards

On March 12, 1959, in recognition of his achievements, he was awarded the First Class Cross of Merit of the Federal Republic of Germany.
