Heinrich Baumann (politician)
Heinrich Baumann (born February 16, 1930 in Roßdorf ; † March 7, 2009 ) was a German politician ( SPD ) and a member of the Hessian state parliament .
education and profession
After graduating from high school, Heinrich Baumann trained as an editor at Darmstädter Echo from 1949 to 1952 and then worked in the profession he had learned. From 1952 to 1956 he studied economics and social sciences at the University of Frankfurt am Main and graduated in 1956 with a degree in economics. He then worked from 1956 to 1961 again as a political editor at the Darmstädter Echo.
From 1961 to 1967 he was press officer for the Hessian Minister of the Interior and since 1962 he was also a specialist in the state planning department. In 1968 he became a district planner for the district president of Darmstadt . In 1981 he became a board member of HEGEMAG in Darmstadt .
politics
Heinrich Baumann had been a member of the SPD since 1951 and was a community representative for his party until 1956 and from 1960 to 1973 a member of the Darmstadt Land district assembly , where he led the SPD parliamentary group from 1964. From 1973 to 1977 he was district administrator for the Darmstadt district. After leaving, he was re-elected to the district council in 1977.
From April 17, 1968 to May 2, 1973 he was a member of the Hessian state parliament. When he took office as District Administrator, he left parliament. The successor was Karl Schneider
In 1969 Baumann was a member of the 5th Federal Assembly .
