Heinrich Gieseke (architect)

Heinrich Ernst Conrad Gieseke (also: Heinrich Giesecke ; born April 10, 1877 in Limmer ; † February 20, 1961 ) was a German architect .

Life

Heinrich Gieseke was loud the Wappenrolle of Heraldic Association "Zum Kleeblatt" a member of in today's Lower Saxony detectable since the 16th century farmers - sex Gieseke . His father was the master mason Johann Heinrich Friedrich Gieseke, born in Badenstedt in 1820 .

Gieseke, a member of the Association of German Architects (BDA), created numerous tombs in addition to buildings .

At the time of National Socialism Giesecke took over the chairmanship of the heraldic association "Zum Kleeblatt" from 1888 in Hanover .

In the city archives Hannover found in the estate of the architectural historian Guenther Kokkelink as archival under the archive signature StadtA H 3.NL.518 No. 724th alongside pictures of tombs, floor plans, photographs and negatives and copies of the denazification file the following, among other things, sorted by time of origin materials:

  • 1887–1889: Giesekes student work
  • 1905–1906, together with Theodor Fusch : New building of the Wolff manor ; Bomlitz
  • around 1907: Modifications to the Hotel Oranienhof, Bad Kreuznach
  • 1910: Rental house at Wunstorfer Straße 58, with own apartment on the 1st floor in Hanover-Limmer
  • 1911: Tomb for a hereditary burial in Hanover-Limmer
  • 1912: Gravestone for the Kirchmann family in Stöcken
  • 1912–1915: various tombs, including those for Emma Wolters, Ernst Röder, Georg Elmhorst, Friedrich Schwerdtfeger, [Carl Meyer], the Michaelis family and other hereditary burials in Hannover-Linden
  • 1914: Group of rental houses in Hannover-Linden
  • 1919: War memorial in Hanover-Limmer
