Heinrich Haymerle
Heinrich Haymerle (born September 14, 1910 at Kletzau Castle near Prague , † September 17, 1990 in Vienna ) was an Austrian diplomat .
Haymerle was director of general affairs at the OEEC ( Organization for Economic Cooperation and Development ) in Paris from 1948 to 1951 . From 1951 to 1953 he was chief of protocol, from 1956 to 1960 and 1964/65 head of the political department in the Foreign Ministry . From 1960 to 1964 and from 1970 to 1974 he was Ambassador to Moscow , from 1968 to 1970 Permanent Representative of Austria to the United Nations in New York .

- 1970: Great Silver Decoration for Services to the Republic of Austria
- 1976: Great Silver Medal of Honor with the Star for Services to the Republic of Austria
