Heinrich Herrwerth

Heinrich Herrwerth (born April 26, 1914 in Mannheim ; † May 10, 2008 ) was a German athlete.

He started for the TV Käfertal, the TSV 1846 Mannheim and the Post-SV Mannheim . With the 4 x 100 meter relay of the Post Sports Club, he ran the German annual best time in 1938 in 41.6 seconds. At the German Championships in Breslau in the same year , the relay (Heinrich Herrwerth, Günter Köster , Willi Garrecht , Karl Neckermann ) won bronze. In the following year, the Post relay team ( Siegfried Schmitt , Heinrich Herrwerth, Feuerstein, Günter Köster) won the German championship title in 42.4 seconds .

In addition to the flat stretches, Herrwerth was also active over the hurdles. He set his personal bests all in 1939: 22.1 seconds over 200 meters, 15.5 seconds over 110 meter hurdles and 25.3 seconds over 200 meter hurdles.
