Heinrich Homeister (born August 12, 1893 , † January 19, 1925 ) was a German football player .

Career

Homeister came from the junior division of Holstein Kiel and rose in the course of the championship season 1911/12 to the regular player in the right defensive position by displacing the more experienced Fred Werner and Karl Rempka . Homeister and his team won the North German Championship on April 21, 1912 in Hamburg 3-2 against FuCC Eintracht 1895 Braunschweig . With this success, his team was represented at the final round of the German championship in 1912 . Homeister was used in all three final round matches when a 1-0 final win over Karlsruher FV won the first and to this day only championship in Kiel club history. At the time of final success Homeister still a student at the was Oberrealschule I . The title defense a year later failed due to a 1: 2 defeat at Duisburg SpV .
