Heinrich I of Freising (* around 1065; † October 9, 1137 ) was the 21st Bishop of Freising from 1098 to 1137 .

Heinrich was Count of Tengling / Ebersdorf and became Bishop of Freising in 1098. Heinrich von Freising joined Henry V's party in the power struggle between the emperor and the pope . Heinrich von Freising was with the Margrave Leopold III. related by marriage to Austria and thus had influential connections, which he benefited in the power struggle with the archbishop of Salzburg, Konrad von Abenberg, who was loyal to the Pope. In 1122, the Worms Concordat came to a settlement between Emperor Heinrich V and the new Pope Kalixt II. Heinrich von Freising also submitted to Kalixt II as a result.
