Heinrich Köttgen (born January 9, 1911 in Aachen , † July 29, 1988 ) was a German Catholic priest and long-time pastor in Düren , North Rhine-Westphalia .

Köttgen was from 1949 to 1969 senior pastor in the parish of St. Anna (today St. Lukas), the city parish of the district town of Düren. He was the one who arranged for the new building of the Anna Church , which was completely destroyed in the Second World War , against great opposition. In addition to pastoral care , he was also responsible for the construction of the facilities that still exist today, namely the St. Anna home for the elderly in Waisenhausstraße , the St. Anna kindergarten in Höfchen , the rectory , the official apartments for sexton and organist and the Pope Johannes House on Annaplatz .

On January 9, 2013, his 102nd birthday, the square in front of the listed Anna column on the corner of Altenteich / Weierstrasse was named "Pfarrer-Köttgen-Platz" at the request of his former acolyte Robert Kindgen.
