Heinrich Kajetan Blümegen , from 1736 Baron von Blümegen , from 1759 Count von Blümegen (born June 29, 1715 on Gut Erlaa near Vienna , † July 30, 1788 ) was the Archducal Austrian First Chancellor .

Life

He came from a Westphalian family who came to Moravia via Austria in the first half of the 18th century , and was the son of Hermann Blümegen (1672–1733; also called Blomeken ), landlord on Erlaa, who on April 9, 1720 in the Imperial baron was raised, and the Genoveva Freiin von Deuring (1687–1731).

Blümegen was the lord of the lord of Lettowitz and Klein-Slatinka in Moravia and Altkettenhof Castle in Lower Austria . He was chamber president in Brno , then governor of the Margraviate of Moravia and finally, in 1771, royal Bohemian colonel and archducal Austrian first chancellor.

On December 28, 1736, Blümegen was elevated to the bohemian old baron class as chamber president in Vienna together with his brothers Hermann Hannibal and Christoph Heinrich, on March 7, 1759 in Vienna to the bohemian count and 1761 to the imperial count.

His first marriage was Maria Anna Freiin Chorinsky von Ledské (born March 11, 1717, † December 11, 1781), the daughter of Karl Freiherr Chorinsky von Ledské, district chief of the Hradian district in Moravia. The couple had the daughters:
