Heinrich Langenbeck (politician, 1817)

Heinrich Langenbeck (born March 26, 1817 in Arolsen , † December 5, 1896 in Hamm ) was a German judge and politician .

Langenbeck was the son of Hofmedicus Friedrich Langenbeck and his wife Charlotte nee Ebel. He married Minna Langenbeck on May 19, 1864 in Großenschneen near Göttingen. Langenbeck studied law from 1835 at the University of Göttingen and in 1853 became a senior court assessor in Korbach. In 1857 he was promoted to senior judge and from 1858 worked in the same position in Arolsen. In 1869 he became appellate judge in Paderborn and in 1879 appellate judge at the Hamm Higher Regional Court . He was appointed to the Privy Council of Justice. In 1894 he retired.

From 1855 to 1857 he was a member of the state parliament of the Principality of Waldeck-Pyrmont . He was elected in the constituency of Eisenberg .
