Heinrich Otto Stotz (* 1810 in Breslau ; † 1876 in Frankfurt am Main ) was a theater actor and director .

Life

After Otto Stotz had already shown his talent in children's roles, he was hired in 1830 for Bonvivant in the Lobesche Gesellschaft, in 1836 for the royal stage in Berlin (inaugural role: "Page" in Pagenstreich ), then took engagements in Würzburg , Lübeck , Schwerin and Kassel and in 1845 took over the management of the Meininger stage , which he led with a lot of luck. He found his last engagement in Frankfurt am Main, where he worked successfully from 1853 to 1876. Stotz proved himself both as a director and an actor.

His brother was the actor Alwin Stotz .
