Heinrich Philipp Ludwig Kalkmann (born April 30, 1822 in Bremen , † May 1, 1873 in Wiesbaden ) was a German businessman.

Life

Kalkmann came to Hamburg from Bremen in 1852 . He was a partner in the Kalkmann Gebr company until 1865. From 1863 to 1865 he acted as an appraisal citizen in the country and was a member of the building deputation in 1864 and 1865.

From 1861 to 1865 Kalkmann belonged to the Hamburg citizenship .

In 1865 he moved to Ceará in Brazil and ran a trading business there until 1871. He was also a Prussian consul and from 1869 consul of the North German Confederation . From 1871 Kalkmann lived in Wiesbaden.
