Heinrich Sülmann

Heinrich Bernhard August Sältmann (born October 17, 1874 in Mehrin ; † July 3, 1950 there ) was a German pastor , homeland and family researcher and non-fiction author .

Life

Sultmann was the son of the pastor Christoph Friedrich Sältmann. After attending high school in Stendal, he studied in Greifswald, Halle and Tübingen. He married Klara Schubert, the pastor's daughter in Späningen , who gave birth to eight children. In the First World War, Sältmann last served as a hospital pastor.

It was on October 1, 1902 ordained and was from 1902 until his death in 1950 pastor in Mehrin, also responsible for the churches in Beese , Dolchau and Vienau .

He made a name for himself as a local researcher for the Altmark . His publications are still used in specialist literature to this day.
