Heinrich Schaumann
Wilhelm Heinrich Schaumann (born February 2, 1841 in Tübingen , † July 6, 1893 in Stuttgart ) was a German painter.
Life
Heinrich Schaumann attended the Royal Art School in Stuttgart from 1858 , then studied anatomy at the Veterinary School and moved to Munich in 1864 , where he worked as a genre and animal painter .
He repeatedly toured England, France, the Netherlands and Italy, where he diligently studied art and art history. He was also a skilled draftsman and illustrator and produced a cycle “Types from the Cannstatter Volksfest ”.
