Heinrich Stremitzer

Heinrich Stremitzer (born April 21, 1936 in Lienz ; † April 30, 2016 ) was an Austrian university professor for business administration.

Life

After graduating from high school in Lienz in 1954 , Stremitzer was a working student in Vienna and Hamburg . As a business graduate (1958), he received his doctorate in commercial science in 1961 . Initially a public accountant in the private sector , he was an assistant at the Hamburg University for Economics and Politics and at the University of World Trade in Vienna. In 1973 he qualified as a professor for business administration , and followed the call of the University of World Trade to the chair of business administration with a special focus on insurance management. From 1980 to 1984 he was prorector, rector and prorector of the university. In 1984 he became a member of the Corps Hansea Vienna.
