Heinrich Weber (painter, 1839)
Heinrich Weber (* 1839 in Esplingerode , a district of Duderstadt ; † 1913 there ) was a German portrait and genre painter.
Life
Heinrich Weber was the son of a farrier. Since October 31, 1871, he studied at the Royal Academy of Fine Arts in Munich under Wilhelm von Diez and worked in Munich and his hometown Esplingerode / Duderstadt after completing his studies . Since 1873 he has been represented at art exhibitions in Berlin , Dresden , Munich and Vienna with pictures from Upper Bavarian folk life: landscapes, characters and interiors.
His works are u. a. in the collections of the New Pinakothek in Munich .
Besides the above, there was the painter and graphic artist Heinrich Weber (1892–1962) of the same name.
