Heinrich Winterwerb

Heinrich Winterwerb (born December 6, 1877 in Nassau (Lahn) , † January 8, 1960 in Mannheim ) was a German entrepreneur .

In 1909, Winterwerb founded the company Winterwerb, Streng & Co., Rheinische Maschinenfabrik in Mannheim-Käfertal , which mainly produced cellar machines. From 1933 to 1945 he was Vice President of the Mannheim Chamber of Commerce and Industry , from 1933 to 1945 President of the Mannheim Antiquities Association . In 1934 he joined the NSDAP , in November 1940 he was appointed military economic leader. From April to August 1945 he was President of the Mannheim Chamber of Commerce. In the arbitration chamber proceedings he was denazified as a “ fellow traveler ” .
