Heinrich Worst

Heinrich Worst (born July 2, 1913 ; † unknown) was a German football player .

Career

Worst began playing football at the Tuspo Fürth at the age of 16 and moved to FSV Nürnberg for the 1932/33 season .

From 1933 to 1939 he played - belonging to the SpVgg Fürth - in the Gauliga Bayern , in one of initially 16, later increased to 23 Gauligen at the time of National Socialism as the uniform top division in the German Reich . During his club membership he played 71 point games in which he scored 20 goals. With only two point games - the fewest in one season for SpVgg Fürth - he contributed to the Gaumeistertitel at the end of the season 1934/35; three points ahead of last year's champions 1. FC Nürnberg . Due to the success he and his team qualified for the final round of the German championship . In the final round, which was held in four groups of four teams each, he was used in five Group D games. His debut in the second group game on April 14, 1935 was marred by the 0-1 defeat against FC Hanau 93 . But in the second leg on May 12, 1935, which was won 5-1, he was able to distinguish himself with his first goal, the hit to lead 1-0 in the 40th minute. He scored his second goal in the last group game on May 26, 1935 in the 3-2 defeat at VfB Stuttgart with the connection goal to 2-1 in the 29th minute. After the end of the Second World War he was in the Oberliga Süd , which was newly founded with play from November 4, 1945 , one of initially three, later expanded to five seasons, the highest German division, in the 1946/47 season in two league games for use.

After he belonged to the club for another season, but was no longer used in competitive games, he joined the newly founded Tuspo Fürth in July 1948, whose game director he was until 1954.
