Heinrich von Brabeck

Heinrich von Brabeck (* unknown; † 1618 ) was canon in Münster .

Life

Origin and family

Heinrich von Brabeck came from the Westphalian noble family von Brabeck , which had its origin in Vest Recklinghausen . He was the son of Wolter von Brabeck and his wife Kiliana von Westhofen zu Letmathe and had six siblings: Walter (1577–1626 canon), Engelbert (canon 1611–1636), Schonebeck (∞ Anna von Letmathe, son Johann was canon), Jürgen (Drost in Oer), Engelbert (Provost in Paderborn and Canon in Munster) and Westhoff (∞ Anna Ursula von Landsberg, whose sons Ludolf Walter , Jobst Edmund and Johann Ernst were canons in Munster. Their son Engelbert (* 1621) was canon in Hildesheim).

Act

With the receipt of the tonsure on December 26, 1614, Heinrich was prepared for a spiritual life. With the revival of the families Brabeck, Landsberg, Westhoff, NN. and Droste on February 4, 1615 it came into the possession of the cathedral praisees of Münster . Heinrich died before emancipation in 1618.
