Heinrich von Milly , called the buffalo ( Latin Henricus Bubalus , French Henri le Bufle ; † after 1164) was lord of Arabia Petra as a sub- vassal of the rule Oultrejordain in the Kingdom of Jerusalem .

Heinrich was the youngest son of Guido von Milly (Guy de Milly), a knight from Picardy who had participated in the First Crusade and had risen to become Lord of Nablus in the Holy Land . Heinrich's mother was his second wife, Stephanie von Flanders , the divorced widow of Baldwin II, Lord of Ramla . Heinrich was born in the Holy Land, as was his older brother Philip . He also had at least one older, French-born half-brother Guido from his father's first marriage. Philip inherited the paternal rule of Nablus, which he later exchanged for the rule of Oultrejordain before becoming Grand Master of the Templar Order .

He married Agnes Garnier , daughter of Eustach II Garnier , Count of Sidon.

He had four daughters with his wife Agnes:

The last dated documentary mention of Heinrich comes from July 16, 1164. Heinrich also seems to have been castellan of Castellum Regis and Monfort , at least the Lignages d'Outre-Mer record that he bequeathed these castles to his daughter Agnes on his death. His rule Arabia Petra was crushed by the Ayyubids in 1188/89 .
