Heinz-Joachim Müllenbrock

Heinz-Joachim Müllenbrock (born April 12, 1938 in Hamburg ) is a German Anglist .

Life

After graduating as Dr. phil. in Hamburg on December 4, 1967 and habilitation there in 1972, he became professor in Paderborn in 1973 and in Göttingen in 1978.

His main research interests are literature, especially from the 18th to 20th centuries, with a cultural-scientific emphasis, literature and politics, the public culture of debate in the 18th century, English landscape gardens in the 18th century, political rhetoric since modern times, historical novels, historical drama of the Renaissance and utopia and anti-utopia .
